Description
There is a distinct rise in anxiety amongst the youngsters, specially those who are in the final years of
the school. Academic pressure, insecurity about the career, preparing for the competitive exams, take a
heavy toll on their psyche. They seem to have a very tough time in regulating their emotions.
THE PROBLEM
Students, as little as in their early teens, and even younger than that, are anxious and heavily stressed
out. And the reasons are not difficult to understand:
– They are heavily burdened by the competition, at a very early age.
– Their unbridled desires, fuelled by the onslaught of exposure to media and the social media.
– Peer pressure, and the expectations of the parents
– A constant pressure to excel, to prove themselves and to project their identity.
– Addiction to the constant usage of mobile devices and the social media apps leads to Attention
Deficiency issues.
THE SOLUTION
Though we might believe that most of our problems are because of the situations and people around us,
there is very little that can be done about them. The real solution is to change oneself. We need to work at the mental, the emotional level, since these traits tend to get well ingrained into the psyche. Emotions, perceptions and habits need to be
changed and transformed.
Our emphasis is on *empowering* the participants. We believe that once the participants get
empowered, they can develop the ability to change themselves.
We teach simple, yet very effective Yogic practices and Yogic and Modern Psychology with Mindfulness,
to bring about calmness and clarity in the mind. The program is designed in such a way that it works at
the very basic level – the emotions, that are responsible for all of our experiences.
